A fellow museum-goer wanted a photo of me in my Ellen Christine hat. Luckily, she snapped this pic before the guard informed us that photography was not allowed.
The hats in the main part of the exhibit could not be photographed, but I took photos of my favorites displayed on the ground floor of the PEM.

The Hats: An Anthology exhibit is at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA through February 3, 2013. The PEM gift shop had an impressive selection of high end millinery, including fall hats in felt, when I visited the museum in early October 2012.
