In the midst of packing for my US/South American summer, I couldn't help but take a moment to snap my latest neon crushes(s).

Lots of excitement fast approaching.

This time next week, I'll be kicking back, relaxing (or possibly recovering) from what is set to be an indulgent weekend of bridal festivities.

Dress and shoes sorted, now all that's missing is the company.

Can't wait for my friends from all corners to fly into Melbourne and help me celebrate.

THE PEPLUM TOP

I've long been a fan of peplum shapes, with dresses and blazers filling my wardrobe, but surprisingly, this is the first peplum top.

It is such a flattering silhouette and works dressed up or dressed down. Trend or no trend, peplum will be a regular wardrobe addition.

Now this is what I call a statement print.

During the week, the sun decided to come out and play, so this bold graphic print tank got a workout.

Mixing up the prints, accessorising with this incredible leopard bangle and my trusty ankle boots.

On to wedding matters, I'm on the hunt for the perfect bridal shower dress.

Think white lace, statement splits, flowing fabrics. I'd love any suggestions - tweet, facebook or instagram them through.

There is something eternally chic about layering white on white. To break it up, I like to play around with different fabrics and textures, like this ruffled skirt. 

Add a dash of sorbet lemon, with these incredible pumps and you've got one of my favourite outfits.

None The Richer, is the Aussie brand behind this gorgeous rockabily-esque print dress.

Upon closer inspection you will notice a perfect pony print, and studded shoulder detail - all a little too fabulous!

The babe behind the brand, Ulyana , who also has an incredible blog, has designed a collection she describes as a little pop, a drop of rock, a dash of glam, a sprinkle of grunge and a splash of mess that makes you feel like dancing in the street.

One of my favourite emerging Aussie designers!

SWEET PASTEL

Dear friends,

Last night, I slipped into this beyond gorgeous dress, via my favourite Melbourne online boutique, GINGERBREAD SHOP, and headed down to the Alex Perry runway show at the Loreal Melbourne Fashion Festival.

The show was characterised, by feminine silhouettes, delicate shoes, perfect pastels and pretty neutrals, which was right up my alley. There is definitely something to be said about lady-like dressing.

Pretty dresses have always been my weakness and this one made me feel like an absolute princess. Pastels, full skirts and metallics, reminds me a lot of Louis Vuitton's, sweet pastel candy campaign!
