My latest obsession is anything is this cotton candy pink colour, and this Something Else shirt is absolute perfection. It seems to work back with everything in my wardrobe, especially these floral jeans.

At the moment, I'm eyeing off a Josh Goot dress is the same colour, which I think will be the perfect party dress for my bridal shower which isn't too far off now.

Three more weeks, 'til I board a plane bound for the U S of A. I can't wait to soak up the summer rays which are so lacking in Melbourne's chilly winter.

LOVELY LACE

There is something so feminine and luxe about lace.

It is one of my favourite fabrics to wear, and my friends at Lucette, have nailed it once again with this beautifully crafted lace shirt.

The perfect contrast against black or navy in winter, and I can't wait to style in the heat of the northern hemisphere soon, against white-washed denim.

I'm definitely a summer kind of gal.

If I had my way, I would spend my time chasing the warm weather around the world. Alternate trips between Europe and the Americas June-September, followed by Island hopping, en route to Australia for some beach fun to kick off the new year.

Enjoy and repeat.

This time round, the West Coast of the States, Mexico and Vancouver are calling me, and these exquisite silk palazzo pants will be sure to get a work out abroad. With heels or flats, I think there is something so sophisticated about a good palazzo pant, and Aussie label Shakuhachi sure are on to a winner with these.

Now this is what I call a statement print.

During the week, the sun decided to come out and play, so this bold graphic print tank got a workout.

Mixing up the prints, accessorising with this incredible leopard bangle and my trusty ankle boots.

On to wedding matters, I'm on the hunt for the perfect bridal shower dress.

I am a huge supporter of Australian design, and this outfit sports two of my absolute favourites - Lucette, and Faddoul.

Gorgeous fabrics and detailing like these studded cuffs and exquisite prints underpin the design philosophy of both of these Aussie brands and is why I keep coming back for more.

In other news, the countdown to the nuptials, and return to the U S of A is on.

Unlike your traditional bride, I'm off for an overseas adventure, including visits to the States, Mexico and Vancouver, so flights, accommodation and dress decisions have taken over. Mind you, over the weekend, I was treated to some much needed pre-wedding rest and relaxation at The Olsen Hotel.

Definitely just what I needed.

WINTER CHILL

The temperature is dropping, as we quickly approach what's set to be a very chilly Australian winter.  

During the week, I again teamed up with good friend and photographic extraordinaire, Sabine, to capture my latest cosy winter acquisition. 

Away with the sundresses, silk, shorts and shirts, it's now all about chunky knitwear, hats and coats.

Dear friends, 

I'm a strong believer in keeping things simple, and when you have a dress as pretty as this, a pair of nude stilettos is the only accessory I need.

Picked up from my friends over at STYLE MILK, this dress is simple and so perfect.  

Detailed darting and a full skirt make a beautifully feminine silhouette and the delicate rose gold zip that runs the entire length of the dress adds the perfect metallic touch.

Dear friends, 

It is always an adventure, when I meet with my friend Sabine! 

The other day, we spent the morning, exploring a gorgeous little canal, and surrounding lane ways, strewn with the most beautiful florals. We also had fun running into some of the natural wildlife that took a particular liking to us. 

This very pretty dress, ankle boots and hat, seemed like the perfect adventure attire.

Dear friends,

From Louis Vuitton to 3.1 Phillip Lim, to Prada, pastels and lady-like tailoring have featured heavily on catwalks.

Here is my take on the trend, experimenting by colour blocking pastel hues, as well as texture in these gorgeous THIMBLE shorts.

There is something eternally feminine about pastels, so I'm happy to see more and more designers picking them up.
